Right of Withdrawal (European Union & Spain)

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 calendar days, without giving any reason, in accordance with EU and Spanish consumer protection law.

The withdrawal period will expire 14 calendar days from the day you or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier) acquires physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by a clear statement (for example, by email).

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, excluding the original delivery costs, without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 calendar days from the date on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Return Conditions

Returned goods must be sent back without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days from the date on which you communicate your withdrawal.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning, as would be permitted in a physical retail store.

Please note that minor variations in color, tone, or appearance resulting from the production process, algorithmic generation, or manufacturing tolerances shall not be considered a defect.

Such variations do not affect the consumer’s statutory right of withdrawal; however, they shall not be considered grounds for a claim based on defect or lack of conformity.

Return Shipping Costs

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, except where the goods are defective, damaged, or incorrect.

In such cases, Rioja Art Lab will cover the return shipping costs.

Returns sent without prior communication may not be accepted.

Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon receipt and notify us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. In accordance with Spanish consumer law, we will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund and assume all related costs.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with EU and Spanish legislation, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized

  • Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons once unsealed

  • Digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, once performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to receive a different product, please return the original item and place a new order.

Refund Processing

Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, the refund will be processed within 14 calendar days via the original payment method.
